invited by EU-Parliament for feedback on AI and Data regulations

an invited member of the Council of Europe AI Working Conference in Strasbourg

We launched the highly successful Female Edtech Fellowship and the 3rd cohort starts on Jan 23rd, 2023. If you a female founder in growth stage building an Edtech StartUp in Europe then follow the link above and apply until Jan 12th! The 6-months fellowship includes monthly expert calls with outstanding entrepreneurs, peer-to-peer learning and problem solving amongst the fellows and an off-site week-end in France to better connect with fellow entrepreneurs and investors.
Our Startup Taskforce launched the European Edtech Map. Get yourself on the map if you haven’t done it, and stay tuned for what is happening around the Map in 2023.
Additionally, we started the Market Discovery Webinar series and in 2023 we will bring you to one country every month, starting with Italy in January. Did you miss Spain and Germany? Follow the link above to request the recordings of these webinars or simply get information about the next ones.
We developed the New Ukrainian Schoolhub at the request of the European Commission and together with Ministries in Ukraine and Finland, supporting refugee learners and their communities both within Ukraine and wider Europe. We were able to promote hundreds of Edtech startups and have had thousands of users.
Our Policy Taskforce was equally busy, we were co-authors of the Time for Action: making EdTech a key driver in the European digital education ecosystem report. We also authored a position paper on OER and an overview of the foundations required for successful public, private partnerships.
We worked on two winning EU project applications, EmpowerED (looking at developing, supporting and building the Edtech community within Europe) and DS4Skills (exploring digital skills needed in education).
Further, we supported the inaugural EdTech NEXT event in Bielefeld. It is coming back in 2023 and we are looking forward to meeting even more EdTech enthusiasts from all over Europe.
As part of the international advisory board of The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), we are very pleased to have participated in the fantastic international collaboration and this insightful report naming the top three Hurdles, Accelerators and Tech Enablers driving K-12 innovation in 2023. Read their full 2022 Report here!
